From the Director

To those of you whose students are graduating, I extend my sincere congratulations. In addition to being proud of your student, you should also be proud of your own accomplishment in helping your son or daughter to attain such an important and rewarding goal. Well done!

And to those of you whose students have reached another milestone in completing the academic year, I also extend my congratulations. Your constant support is no doubt an important factor in your student's persistence.

This is the final issue of eConnection for the 2008-2009 academic year. We will resume our monthly publication schedule in August with a special summer edition of the newsletter. In the meantime, remember that you are always welcome to contact our office should you need assistance. We can be reached via email at parents@umd.edu or by phone at 301.314.8429 (Parent Helpline).

I hope you have a wonderful summer.

Kind regards,

Brian L. Watkins
