The webinar will focus on current employment trends, tips for your student to become more competitive in the job market, as well as strategies for parents in working with your students through this period.

How to view
A recording of the webinar is now available.  To view the Terp Parent Webinar, you will need to have a computer with an Internet connection. You will also need a speaker or headphone.  The webinar was conducted using Wimba Live Classroom--a virtual meeting space that requires no special software to operate.
 

To view the recording:

  1. Please go to http://umd.horizonwimba.com/launcher.cgi?room=_umd_s__230419_1_322753_2009_0507_1201_23
     

  2. If you have not yet run the Setup Wizard, click the "run the Setup Wizard" link on the right side of the window to run the Wimba Classroom Setup Wizard. This will ensure that your computer is properly configured to run a Wimba Live Classroom presentation. Note: you do not need a microphone for this webinar. When you get to the “Recording” check box in the setup wizard, simply click “Next.”
     

  3. On the Participant Login screen, enter your name in the "Name" field.  First name is fine.  Do not use the username and password fields.
     

  4. When finished, click "Launch."  The presentation should automatically begin.
